The Rural Education Programme, with the theme, "Education, Literacy, Awareness" teaches the participating youth on relevant topics, such as health, agriculture, income generating activities, vegetable gardening and forestry.

In all the villages in its area, social action programmes have been initiated.  They take up village problems like alerting the proper authorities to the lack of drinking water and medical facilities.

With the objective of protection, preservation and promotion of the forests and environment, Puratan Chhatra Samiti (Regd)  begun a plantation program with over 50 acres of government wastelands The plantation includes various species of fruit, fuel and fodder plants.

Puratan Chhatra Samiti (Regd) has been active in development activities in Aligarh District of U.P.  They created "SMILE", a unique and innovative programme to motivate the youth to work for the betterment of their own community.
